EXPLEO GROUP USA is seeking a Senior Consultant Design Engineer (Level 6) to provide industry-leading technical vision, innovation, and leadership across aerospace programmes.
This role is designed for a recognized industry expert who can shape design strategy, develop new methodologies, and influence long-term engineering capability and business direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of advanced aerospace design solutions and methodologies
- Define and drive design strategy and long-term engineering direction
- Solve highly complex, novel engineering challenges
- Develop new standards, concepts, and best practices
- Serve as primary technical advisor to senior leadership and customers
- Represent the organization in high-level technical forums
- Influence program strategy, innovation, and capability growth
- Mentor senior engineers and shape organizational expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 20+ years aerospace design experience
- Recognized industry expert in aerospace design
- Extensive Boeing and/or defence program experience
- Mastery of CATIA V5 and design systems
- Deep knowledge of FAA regulations and certification processes
- Proven track record of technical innovation and strategic influence
