EXPLEO GROUP USA is seeking a Senior Consultant Stress Engineer (Level 6) to provide industry-leading expertise, innovation, and strategic technical leadership across aerospace structural programs.

 

This role is designed for a recognized industry expert who operates at the highest level of engineering capability, influencing technical direction, innovation, and long-term program success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead resolution of highly complex structural and stress-related challenges
  • Perform and oversee advanced static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis
  • Define and drive advanced FEM modeling approaches and methodologies
  • Serve as final authority on stress reports, SCNs, and structural validation
  • Influence engineering strategy, design practices, and technical direction
  • Act as primary technical interface with senior stakeholders and customers
  • Lead design reviews and drive critical engineering decisions
  • Mentor senior engineers and shape organizational technical capability
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in stress analysis methods

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
  • 20+ years of aerospace stress engineering experience
  • Recognized expert in structural analysis (metallic and composite)
  • Extensive Boeing Defense program experience required
  • Deep expertise in damage tolerance, fatigue, and FEM
  • Proven ability to influence strategic engineering outcomes
  • Advanced leadership, communication, and problem-solving capability
