MRB Design Engineer III-IV
Location: Tulsa, OK – On-site (Office-Based Role)
💰 Pay Range: $66.00 – $72.00/hour
🎯 Retention Bonus: $5,000 after 12 months
🚚 Relocation support available for out-of-state candidates
Expleo is seeking mid-to-senior MRB Design Engineers (Levels 3–4) to deliver high-impact engineering decisions across complex aerospace nonconformances.
This role is ideal for engineers who are confident working independently, influencing technical outcomes, and solving challenging structural issues in a documentation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end MRB analysis and disposition for complex nonconformances
- Evaluate structural impact on fit, form, function, and airworthiness
- Develop innovative repair and rework strategies
- Lead coordination with Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
- Provide technical justification and documentation for all MRB decisions
- Support and lead customer-facing discussions
- Mentor junior engineers (Level 3) and guide teams (Level 4)
- Drive process improvements and technical consistency

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET preferred)
- Engineering degree must be ABET-accredited and recognized under the Washington Accord
- 5 - 9+ years MRB/aerospace experience with expert-level capability
- Previously held MRB signing authority or delegated technical approval within the past 3–5 years (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of metallic and composite structures
- Experience with Boeing platforms (737/787 preferred)
- Prior MRB authority or delegation experience preferred
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and MRB systems
- Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of SAP NCMS or similar nonconformance management systems
- Prior DOA experience, concessions training, TIPQA, or equivalent exposure is a plus
