Manufacturing Engineer – Aircraft Interiors (Cabin)

Join our aircraft interiors team and play a critical role in bringing high-end business jets to life. This role sits at the intersection of design, production, and execution - supporting cabin installations and structural assembly from concept through final build. What You’ll Own
Production & Shop-Floor Engineering
- Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering support for cabin installation and structural assembly lines
- Troubleshoot real-time production issues, nonconformances (NCRs), and workflow constraints
- Partner directly with technicians to implement practical, hands-on solutions
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring production issues
- Drive improvements in cycle time, throughput, and production efficiency
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize workflows using data and trend analysis
Industrialization & Process Development
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes, MBOMs, routings, and work instructions
- Translate engineering designs (2D/3D, GD&T) into clear, technician-ready instructions
- Support new product introductions, production ramp-ups, and manufacturing transfers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, and Stress teams on deviations and repairs
- Support FAI / Pre-FAI, certification, and audit readiness
- Provide concise, data-driven updates in program and production reviews

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing, structures, or final assembly (FAL)
- Strong hands-on experience supporting live production environments
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and routings
- Experience translating engineering data into clear work instructions
Preferred Experience
- Business jet or large aircraft manufacturing experience
- Cabin interiors or structural assembly background
- Experience with CATIA V5, SAP, or similar tools
- Background in industrialization, ramp-up, or manufacturing transfers
- Familiarity with MRB, NCRs, and certification processes
- Experience with materials such as aluminum, composites, foam, or interior components
Compensation & Work Environment
- Hourly Rate: $40–$44/hour, based on experience
- Paid Holidays and 10 days PTO per year
