Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret manufacturing and assembly drawings, 3D models, and process specifications to derive robust, technician-level work instructions.
- Create detailed industrialization packages and routings, including Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs), standard work, and time standards for shop-floor execution.
- Strong knowledge
- Optimize operation sequences, line balancing, and tool/equipment utilization using Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Perform technical studies and conduct analysis of operations
- Work with internal customers and management to develop standards for design and production.
- Conduct capacity analysis and performance trend reviews to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design engineering to enhance the manufacturability of new and evolving aircraft interiors and structural assemblies.
- Develop clear rework instructions and troubleshoot first-piece or production issues to maintain build schedules.
- Provide shop floor support, including creating rework instructions, managing engineering changes and Non-Conformance Requests (NCRs)
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex features such as conflicting design requirements and difficult coordination requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, specifications and corporate quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
- 2–7 years of experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing; familiarity with aircraft interiors/completions is a plus
- Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5, Creo, SolidWorks) CATIA V5 preferable
- Strong grasp of Lean, SPC, line balancing, and capacity planning
- Ability to interpret GD&T and engineering drawings to produce clear work instructions
- SAP Management
- 3Dvia
- Experience with developing MBOMs, shop routings, and detailed time-study work packages
- Competence in trend and capacity analysis to drive continuous improvement
- Experience in Manufacturing processes of materials like Divinycell, Aluminum, Steel, Foam, Kydex etc. (Nice-to-have)
- VPM experience preferred (Nice-to-have)
- 3D modeling experience(Nice-to-have)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise between design, production, quality, and support functions.
- Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a sense of ownership and urgency.
